Osuk is a provincial island nation ruled by the Sembiac Empire. It is located approximately 75 miles west of Crossover Point, the easternmost tip of Sembiac. The Province of Osuk is comprised of the island nation of Osuk and
Reashok Island, located approximately 45 miles off Osuk's northernmost coastline. Osuk's population of 420,000 is comprised mostly of humans and Havanathe, although there are sparse populations of Dervatear and humanoids within Mount Umkatik'vkec, and Fpathen and Pseithen within the Forest of Tekubla'hkan and the Tekubla'hkan Foothills. Osuk's capital is the city of Deldakayn, and this is where King Gaelanc Tk'darek rules from.

Mount Umkatik'vkec: The majority of Mount Umkatik'vkec is comprised of rugged foothills dotted with prosperous gold mines, several loosely organized bands of orcs and goblinkind (approx. 3,000 humanoids in all), and two Dervatear mining settlements (approx. 850 citizens in the first and 1,300 citizens in the second). Mount Umkatik'vkec is rich in gold, with sparse veins of silver and copper running through its belly, and this is what originally attracted the Dervatear population across the Tarsicius Sea to Osuk. Although the roaming humanoids outnumber the Dervatear nearly 2-to-1, conflicts between the two groups have been few and far between, for King Tk'darek continually dispatches military patrols to the two Dervatear settlements to ensure their safety, as well as a continual flow of raw gold.

Bounmtelk Desert ("The Golden Stretch"): Covering nearly 20% of the island nation of Osuk, the Bounmtelk Desert is home to several nomadic bands. These nomads scour the golden sands of the Bounmtelk in search of two things: the rare patches of desert turned into crystal-like glass by the ever present lightening storms, and the ancient, buried cities spoken of in the myths and legends of Osuk. The former brings about an impressive profit within the cities of Deldakayn and Orv'tvia, for the crystal-like glass is a prize for wizards and mages; the latter usually brings about insanity and death, for while Osuk legends speak of more than twenty grand cities lost within the sands of the Bounmtelk, only one has actually been found.

Forest of Tekubla'hkan and theTekubla'hkan Foothills: The Forest of Tekubla'hkan is wedged between Deldak Bay to the north and the Tekubla'hkan Foothills to the south. Home to a small population of Fpathen (approx. 4,500 in all), the Forest of Tekubla'hkan is a relatively quite and peacful patch of wooded land. The Fpathen deal primarily in animal furs and skins and the rarity trade, producing some of the finest articles of clothing found anywhere within the Sembiac Empire, as well as musical instruments, long bows, and bound books and paper unmatched within 500 miles. The Fpathen of the Forest of Tekubla'hkan maintain peaceful relations with the Pseithen of the Tekubla'hkan Foothills. The foothills, located between the Forest of Tekubla'hkan and the Bounmtelk Desert, are home to a slightly larger population of Pseithen (approx. 6,800 in all), distributed among a handful of clans. The Pseithen are primarily hunters and herders, maintaining large herds of rock-footed sheep and Osukian goats while hunting wild boar, bear, and the occasional ogre.

Deldak Bay: This bay is located on the eastern side of the island nation of Osuk. Small rock islands and hazardous reefs found within the bay make navigation to Osuk's capital city of Deldakayn difficult, as well as offer protection for the capital city in the event of an attack.

Velknic Bay: Located along the northern coastline of Osuk, Velknic Bay is home to several fishing communities, both large and small. Because Tarsiciusian giant shrimp find the shallow waters of the bay appealing, dozens of shrimping and fishing vessels can be found within the waters of the Velknic on a daily basis, hauling in the prized giant shrimp by the wagon load.

Osuka Highlands: Rolling hills and prairie stretch from Deldak Bay in the east to the city of Yiltuk in the west, making up what is known as the Osuka Highlands. The majority of Osuk's Havanathe population (approx. 175,000 in all) can be found living within nearly one-hundred small towns and villages, the largest of which boasts a modest population of 4,591. Most of the Havanathe are either herders or famers; the former maintain large herds of highland sheep, Osukian goats, and pink-bellied cattle, while the latter tend to lush fields of corn and wheat, and impressive potato, bean, herb, and tomato gardens. When not herding or farming, the Havanathe enjoy cobbling and tinkering with woodworks, as well as raising and training Osukian ponies. Of all the Havanathe, only a handful have the dedication to learn the ways of the arcane and mystic magics, so it is rare to find a Havanathe mage or cleric. Although friendly with the humans of Osuk, as well as the Dervatear, Fpathen, and Pseithen, the Havanathe have an enemy that also calls the Osuka Highlands home: the sparse herds of Osukian centaurs (approx. 200-250 in all), cousins to the more civilized centaurs found within Eastern Glashia and northern Sembiac. These highly intelligent and savagely barbaric half-man, half-horse creatures find great pleasure in attacking the smaller Havanathe settlements, burning down homes and shops, and destroying crop fields. Some Havanathe say that the centaurs have gone so far as to capture Havanathe pups for sacrifice to their evil gods.

Reashok Island: Said to have been thrown free from Osuk thousands of years ago by a tremendous earthquake--resulting in the formation of Velknic Bay--Reashok Island is located approximately 45 miles north of the northernmost point of Osuk. This large island is home to nearly 26,000 inhabitants, with Reashok's Havanathe population making up about 90% of it. This sparse population is spread out about the island, forming small villages and hamlets built around copper mines, the island's only major resource. Because Reashok Island is only loosely controlled by the Sembiac Empire, miners have been able to trade their copper, both raw and smelted, to smiths living in coastal cities of other countries, such as Eastern Glashia, Zambari, and Exeum. A small yet well-fortified keep, constructed hundreds of years back, can be found on the northeastern coast of the island. This keep was built for the Empress of the Sembiac Empire and her family should they ever have to leave Sembiac's capital city of Valskarre. Legend has it that there is a series of caverns and tunnels running from beneath the keep to a second stronghold located on the southern coast of the nation of Tarsic to the north, over 300 miles away.
